For Ctrl + Shift in the doc tree it can pick multiple docs singlely, but for Click + Shift seems to be for Open on the bottom, so where should I look for this? Thanks much.

I agree.. imported my markdown journal entries from obsidian and sorting them is an insane pain in the ass without mass/multi-select. How is that supposed to work?

You can take a look at the User Guide --> shortcut --> doctree(?) (not sure what it's called in English)
