by SFTP - I meant to say - im using sftpgo (https://sftpgo.com/) and setting up personal webdav server for siyuan data.

@SternCat questions - are those connections still made if I'm using sftp?

I'm using pro license and setup my own sftp for the data storage, so not using chinese or US datacenters.

But it is still connecting to the US datacener I think - for license validation - right?

Thank you. yes I saw that - that I can drag and drop and that embeds documents.

but what if I want to use siyuan as kind of a "file storage", like drag and drop entire folder with images and other docs? and have it be like a real folder in the sidebar?

I do NOT see an option to import just a directory with images.

from what I found out - desktop version of siyuan - has additional menu entry that says "import markdown folder". sot that seems to have worked for markdown.

im still not sure about like assets - can I import images etc -not sure.

I'm having the same problem.

selfhosted siyuan - webdav configured with 30 second sync.

android app - also webdav configured with 30 second sync.

if I press "sync" in either android or selfhosted UI - it works.

"Automatic" sync every 30 seconds - does not work. Why?

I see - ony PC version has markdown import.

How about images?

ive tried importing a markdown folder - but a directory with just images didnt import.

is that expected? why cant I have image directories in siyuan?

is importing markdown folder no longer supported?

I dont have "markdown folder" option in the menu
