- "Google Analytics" option
Why is it that this option enabled by default?
For an app that advertises itself as "privacy oriented" - it's a bad idea.
It has to be disabled by default. - Cloud sync - wording is not good.
The current selected is a third-party cloud storage service compatible with the Amazon S3 protocol (eg Qiniu, Aliyun OSS, Cloudflare R2)
The US consumers are likely completely oblivious to what is Qiniu or Aliyun - they don't know what this is and they sound scary. This wording is likely going to scare US users away. For english version - you could say "cloud storage service compatible with the Amazon S3 protocol such as minio, aws s3, clouflare R2". - "Account login" - most people would be confused by what is this for..
Some people might be concerned this is used for data sync to some chinese datacenter, and probably not like that.
What is this for? Is this just for license verification and support forum?
Then you should clearly indicate that.
On the account page - clearly add a note that:
"Account is only needed for license verification and support requests. This email is not sold or transferred away in any way and is only used to verify use licensing information." - Enabling "marketplace". The wording is very scary: "Once you choose to trust the marketplace, it cannot be closed. If you have installed a marketplace package containing malicious code, please manually delete it on the file system". Very bad wording.
Most people will be running away screaming scared. Western app stores / plugin stores come being advertised as safe by default.
So I would advise you to change the wording.
Create "advanced" menu, add "marketplace" submenu into the "advanced" menu.
There has to be a note that says "this is dangerous, please understand what you are doing before enabling".
"Click here to enable". "Trust" is a bad wording, don't use it.
Don't show a "plugin" icon in the top right corner at all until people opted in into the marketplace.

Most people will be running away screaming scared. Western app stores / plugin stores come being advertised as safe by default. Most app stores which are enabled by default have a review process. Many others are not enabled by default, most software doesn't even have a marketplace. Obsidian for example has a similar warning before the user like this:
[..] could potentially cause data integrity and security issues.
The marketplace plugins in SiYuan are pretty much an open door. Thus I think it's highly important to clarify that the responsibility is with the user and you should not trust foreign code on goodwill.
Otherwise good suggestions 👍
