Is There a Way to Append Text to an Existing Document (in doctree) By Dragging from Editor

When I drag a heading from editor to the doctree, it creates a new child doc. Is there a way to have drag action append the dragged heading to the target document instead of creating a new child one.

I use Siyuan for research. As I read a research paper, I break it down using headings. Then, I'd like to drag these headings to documents in the doctree to append to existing documents. Sometimes I do want create a new child documents, too.

It would be nice to use a keyboard modifier key e.g. SHIFT to have the drag action to append instead of create a new child doc.

Thank you.

Thank you very much for talking the time to demonstrate the different ways we can append headings to existing docs.

From what I have seen, it does not look like it is possible to append headings to an existing document by dragging it to the doctree. Please, consider adding it as a feature.

      Thanks for the great support.
