Embedding images in Asset field

Hello,

I was wondering if support for embed links in Assets fields can be considered. In Notion, the "Files & Media" field for databases supports adding an embed link instead of having to upload your own file:

This is very helpful when I want to include many assets that I don't necessarily want to store on the server. For context, I'm creating a database table of freelancers, and I'm attaching samples of their work in a column. This lets me see their work at a glance. In SiYuan, I have to manually download and upload these images to the Assets field, which can sometimes be quite big filesize-wise and it isn't as convenient.
