Feature: Quick navigation on mobile

The fastest way I've found to navigate back on mobile takes three taps:

Gear kog on top-right
Recent Documents
Previous document

Many apps that I enjoy using on mobile make this really fast with a bottom navigation bar with the following items:

Back
Forward
Search
Command Pallet

Is there a way to bring these navigation elements forward to be quicker on mobile?
